The Sacred is of the Mystery. It is found within ourselves, each other and in all life. Seeing from this perspective opens us to an energy that is timeless. It has the ability to transform perception and how we walk through life in profound ways.
Part of this discovery can be a merging of spiritual energies within ourselves where there is either very little or no longer any inner conflict or duality. Accessing the true essence inside ourselves is an adventure unique to each person. There is no one answer or path that fits all. While one person is climbing a mountain to reach the peak, another is coming down a mountain, having experienced the view the other is seeking... or so he believes. One may take a year, the other 10 years, yet the amount of time it takes is irrelevant and both perspectives will still be different and beautiful in their own way. I remember this clearly when once several years ago, I was about to embark on a journey to Europe, where others (trying to be helpful) were telling me how it would be in the countries I were to visit. It was in the early stages of the adventure, that I remember having a "moment" where I realized that it was about having my own experiences, not someone else's. I was then able to let go and be more present to what was unfolding before me.
Finding a deep reverence inside the self for what is Sacred is a place of humility, vulnerability and great beauty. There is no need to be something other than who we are. It is a place where we can be real about our humanness and sit with wounds so profoundly, a transformation takes place.
